Kalki Movie Review

After the trailer release, Kalki have created good buzz among the film circles. Awe movie fame Prashanth Varma hold’s the megaphone. The suspense thriller has hit the screens today and lets see about the review.


Coming to the story, two rival gangs are fighting one among them in the native village of Kollapur Shekar. In that Babu gets killed. To investigate this case Kalki(Rajasekhar) is appointed and He starts getting deep into the case but to his surprise, there is much more to the murder mystery. More twits he found while chasing the murder. What is that and how Kalki manages it is the story.

Performances :

One man army of this film Rajasekhar does a sincere job in his role of a cop. Hole Credit should go to Prasanth varma for showcasing him in a superb manner. Once again he show cased that he is only hero who can fits to the cop role very well. Adah Sharma is neat in her role but Nanditha Swetha got a meaty role and she was quite Impressive in the second half. Rahul Ramakrishna was okay as the journalist who supports Rajasekhar but he needs to get rid of his weird hairdo and beard.

Techinical Aspects :

Coming to the director Prashanth Varma, his thought process was okay and the way how he handled the story was very nice. things work that well for him as he makes a mess of the first half and only gets a hang of the things in the second half. But he ends the film on an interesting note by revealing the twists well.the production values of the film are Impressive. BGM is pretty good. Camerawork is impressive and so was the production design. The film has a special color template and it looks good on screen. Music played crucial for this movie. Horn Ok Please item number got huge fan base in mass theaters.


On the whole, Kalki is an interesting investigative thriller movie. as the twists are revealed in an interesting manner in the last twenty minutes. Rajasekhar performance as a cop will bounce back again. For the thriller movie lovers it will be best choice for this weekend.
