Cast and crew :
Starring :Akhil Akkineni, Nidhhi Agerwal, Naga Babu, Rao Ramesh
Director : Venky Atluri
Producer : B. V. S. N. Prasad
Music Director : S. Thaman

Akhil’s two films were received with mixed response and didn’t helped his career. He has pinned a lot of hopes on Mr. Majnu which has hit the screens today. Let’s see about the review.

Story :
Vicky(Akhil) is a NRI guy who does not believe in serious relationships. This is the time Nikki(Nidhi Aggarwal) falls for Vicky and proposes to him. Left with no choice, Vicky accepts her proposal and this is the time the problems in the love story blossom and the couple fall apart. Rest of the story is as to how Vicky takes things to his favour. What is the role of Adhi ? Why Vicky don’t want to love Nikki ? For all those answers we have to go and watch it in theaters.

Performances :
Main focus goes on Akhil, he is good when compared to his previous films. Look and performance wise he does well in his role.
Nidhi Aggarwal is the star of the film as she gets a meaty role and performs superbly. She has the looks and talent to make it big and she was quite efficient in her emotional character which had many shades.Hyper Aadi saves the second half to an extent with his comedy but his role is not utilized well. The exact same happens with Priyadarshi too as he evokes some fun in the first half and he couldn’t appears in second half.

Technical Aspects :
Creator of this movie Venky Atluri, has done just an okay job with the film. His story idea is simple and generate the needed screenplay in the film. He starts the proceedings quite interestingly but does not generates the needed romance in between the lead pair. There are some good scenes and few comedy episodes which keep coming in between the main leads.
and coming to Thaman’s music score was just about okay to listen, on screen all his songs look lovely. His background score was also quite efficient. Production values by BVSN Prasad were top notch as the London visuals were captured superbly by the camera team.

Verdict :
On the whole, Mr. Majnu is a complete youth and family based movie. The lead pair does extremely well and hold the proceedings along with some decent comedy which clicks here and there. Watch it for this weekend.
