After few disappointments Hero Sundeep Kishan again came to check his luck with horror thriller Ninu Veedani Needani Nene. After creating a decent buzz, this movie has finally hit theaters today. Let’s see about the review.

Coming to the story, movie starts off in the year 2035 Young research scholars Arjun (Karthick Naren) and Madhavi (Malavika Nair) meet a psychiatrist (Murli Sharma) regarding a case that took place in Hyderabad in 2013. The entire story is then narrated through a flashback. Rishi (Sundeep Kishan) and Diya (Anya Singh) are a newly married couple. Their lives take a mysterious turn after a car accident near a burial ground on the outskirts of Hyderabad. On the night of the accident, Rishi and Diya casually look at the mirror and get the shock of their lives when they see the reflection of Arjun (Vennela Kishore) and Madhavi respectively. Meanwhile, Inspector Posani (Posani Krishna Murali) cracks the mystery and reveals that it’s actually Arjun (Sundeep Kishan) and Madhavi (Diya) who died in the car accident and are haunting Rishi (Vennela Kishore) and his wife Madhavi by entering their mind and body. Will Arjun unravel the mystery behind his and his wife’s deaths? Will Arjun and Madhavi leave Rishi and his wife’s lives? For all those answers we need to go and watch in theaters.

Performances :

Coming to the performances, Sundeep Kishan did fantastic job with his decent acting. His performance is quite good and looks charming in the romantic scenes with an equally effervescent Anya Singh. Sundeep’s emotional performance in the scenes where he tries to unravel the mystery and then the scenes with his parents towards the climax deserves a special mention. Anya Singh looks pretty and emotes very well. She is a good find. interesting premise of a couple entering another couple’s minds and bodies after death is the main highlight of this movie . A few spooky moments before the mirror track, the comedy scene featuring Posani and Murli Sharma and the interesting twists at the interval and the climax make up for an engaging thriller.Posani add intrigue and humor elements to the proceedings. Vennela Kishore gets a crucial role. Rest of them played well accordingly.

Technical Aspects:

Coming to the Director Caarthick Raju he comes up with a very innovative storyline and succeeds in executing the mystery and the spooky elements in a more engaging manner. Thaman’s background score is riveting. The songs are well composed and well shot too. Caarthick bravely includes an emotional song in the climax and it’s very moving. Cinematography by PK Varma is quite impressive. Especially, the night interior scenes are shot very well. Praveen KL’s editing is good, but he should have cut short some of the scenes involving Posani and Murli Sharma, as they are pretty lengthy. The film ends on a happy note, but your hearts will be heavy by then. Sundeep gives out an important message at the end. Even the production values are adequate.

On the whole, Ninu Veedani Needani Nene is a engaging thriller movie. NVNN is less on horror and more on supernatural elements to thrill the audience. So go and enjoy the thrill in theaters on this weekend.
