Post Baahubali, Every one is eagerly waiting for next big one Saaho which is surpersingly directed by young man Sujeeth. This is the only film that has created such a buzz all over the world in recent times. This film hits the screen today so lets see about the review.
Coming to the story, Entire film runs in between two batches in Waaji city which is dangerious city in the world. After demolish of Roy(Jackie Shroff) two gangstars targeted his place. During the same time, huge money is robbed from Devaraj(Chunkey Pandey) who runs the opposite gang. The cops employ an undercover cop Ashok(Prabhas) to crack this case. Who is this thief ? who is killing Devaraj and his gang? What role does Ashok play in this setup?. To know all the answers we have to go and watch the movie in theaters.
Coming to the performances, complete Saaho movie depended on Prabhas and he lifted the movie on his shoulders. He does not disappoint his fans who is waiting since 2 years. His acting in action scenes are pretty good and is a feast for the fans. Another charector who lifted the film to the next level is Shraddha Kapoor. She makes an impressive Tollywood debut with this high budget film. She did fantastic job in her decent role as cop who fell in love with Saaho. Star Bollywood actors like Jackie Shroff, Neil Nithin Mukesh play their roles in a very stylish manner. They give the film a complete edge and make it save. Chunkey Pandey, Murali Sharma are neat in their roles.
Coming to the director Sujeeth, every one is having same question that how did Sujeeth handled this kind of big project which includes big casting for all those questions he gave brilliant answer with his output. Only one thing to dissapoint is he could not utilize the stardom of Prabhas well and shows him in a very dull manner. There are many areas where he could have elevated things but Sujeeth failed to do that and spoilt the first half. But coming to the second half he kept movie on another level and especially last 30 min will takes you to the next level of film making. Ghibran takes the film at a higher level with his BGM. But disaapointed with with his music. Production values of the film are on another level. UV Creations have shed their blood and soul to make this film rich and it does in every which way.
On the whole, Saaho is an complete action entertainer with disappointing direction and proper story line. One man army of this film Prabhas leads from the front and kept entire film on his shoulder. Best part to watch this movie is last 30 min which is completely defines the movie and there are so many twists and turns that it leaves you more exhausted than excited.
