Ruhani Sharma is all set to greet the Telugu audience with her debut ‘Chi La Sow’ starring Sushanth under the direction of Rahul Ravindran who is marking his directorial debut. As a part of promotions, Ruhani is actively participating in some interviews and sharing some interesting things about the film. Here are some of the excerpts.
Tell us about your background?
I have studied public administration and have been modeling since then. Rahul Ravindran saw my pictures on Instagram and approached me for the lead role. I showed some of my commercials to them and after the audition, I got selected for this role.
What is your role in ‘Chi La Sow:?
Mine is the role of an independent girl who is also traditional in terms of the values. I play the role of a girl who is very inexpressive and has a good scope to perform. I think I have done my best. All those who have seen the film have liked me and I really hope audience like me too.
Was it difficult to work in Telugu?
It was very tough in the starting. But I worked really hard on my diction and the language. I watched a lot of South films in the past and know how the emotions work. As of now, I have watched all the movies of Nani and am slowly improving my Telugu developed.
How is it working with Rahul Ravindran?
Rahul worked really hard and was very particular about every single expression. He was a tough taskmaster. He used to explain every scene in detail and stay very calm during the shoot. As he is also an actor, his suggestions were very valuable.
How was it working with Sushanth?
He was very comfortable to work with. We used to have some nice conversations about the movie and he was a huge support for me throughout the shooting.
