Since his debut Varun Tej is known for his selection of films and ease performance as any role. After Kanche and Fidaa, he is back with another interesting role with Tholiprema. He used the title of Powerstar Pawan Kalyan’s Tholiprema and looks like he did justice to the role. Let’s check out the review:
Aditya (Varun Tej) is an intelligent student and the college topper. He is one such young man who believes that his thoughts will always be correct and he will never make a mistake. One day he sees Varsha (Rashi Khanna) during a train journey and falls for her in the first sight. He immediately expresses his love to her. Unexpectedly both of them join into the same Engineering College. Gradually, Varsha also accepts Aditya’s love.
Aditya is a person who always fights first and then thinks later whereas Varsha is completely different. Due to their poles-apart personalities, some misunderstandings erupt and the duo gets apart. After 6 years they meet again in London. Will they get re-united? How their love story took so many turns and finally reached there? forms the rest of the story.
Youthful and entertaining love story.. Whatever century it may be, the movie which follows this formula will become evergreen hit. But the story and the screenplay should be heart touching. In the same way Tholi Prema is also a feel good love story. Depicting the youth these days, this love story also has ego, anger etc just like real life couples. But we can say that the director succeeded in carving all such emotions beautifully.
The hero and heroine characterisation played an important role in this film. The complete story revolves around them only. Aditya’s proposal scene, and the way he calls college girls as sister will impress the audience. The chemistry between the duo is fantabulous. The director succeeded in making this audience feel excited in every frame and he made them stick to their chairs in theaters. The climax is most important sequence in whole film.
After impressing the audience as an NRI, Varun Tej steals the show as a lover boy in this movie. He lived in this character and showed that love and pain. Raashi Khanna took the limelight and it is definitely her best performance. She lost weight for this role and the remaining characters like Hyper Aadi, Priyadarshi and Naresh did well in their roles.
It is Venky Atluri’s debut movie and he totally made the audience spellbind. The emotional feel in these films is very important and Venky successfully presented it on screen. He portrayed a feel good love story on screen. The screenplay and dialogues are top notch. The dialogues that related to love, anger and caste will definitely impress the audience in theaters. Thaman tunes needs special mention. George Williams cinematography is top notch.
Tholiprema a beautiful love story and a must watch.
